It is with great excitement that we announce Windstar Cruises was named one of the Top Small Ship Cruise Lines in the prestigious Travel + Leisure 2013 World’s Best Awards readers’ survey. We were ranked #3 beating out five other small ship lines and are extremely proud to have our unique itineraries, personalized service, and private yacht style cruising recognized.
We cannot say thank you enough for all the support we received from our dedicated alumni, Facebook fans, and Twitter followers for voting for Windstar.
If you voted, you know the rankings were based on readers’ (your) ratings of our staterooms, restaurants/food, service, itineraries/destinations, excursions/activities, and value; which makes this award even more significant because it is a direct result of your experiences. Windstar’s officers, crew and team members are devoted to making your Windstar voyage the best possible. I would like to thank them for working hard every day to make sure they are delivering the best luxury experience at sea for you.
However, we won’t be resting on our laurels. There’s a lot happening at Windstar in 2013/2014 including:
- New yachts: As we expand our fleet with three new power yachts and become the market leader in yacht-style cruising;
- New destinations: We continue to focus on unique itineraries featuring smaller ports of call, offering eight new voyages in 2014, including our return to Tahiti;
- New experiences: Signature Sailings offering you an in-depth local experience in Windstar style; and
- New partners: As we combine forces with compatible brands to enhance our cruise experience including our just announced partnership with Saveur to bring you our first culinary cruise exploring the tastes and sights of Spain.
