All of us at Windstar Cruises continue to be saddened by the devastation in the Philippines caused by Typhoon Haiyan.
Our alumni and team members have expressed great concern for our crew and we can’t thank you enough for standing by the crew members and their families who have been affected by this disaster.

This week, Wind Spirit celebrated their Filipino crew during the trans-Atlantic crossing with events themed “The Filipino Spirit is Waterproof.” These fundraising activities included:
- Filipino Cooking Demonstration in the Veranda ‘Chicken Adobo’ with Candles Chef Lyo
- Cocktail hour with traditional Filipino songs, Filipino appetizers created by Executive Chef Darin and Sous Chef Juan and a featured Filipino drink ‘Pinoy’ created by Beverage Manager Rommel
- Competition with guest and crew that included Filipino Trivia and a Relay Race.
Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the families and friends of our crew members from the Philippines who have been impacted.
