Xanterra, Windstar Cruises parent company, recently established a partnership with America on the Move, a wellness initiative developed by the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. To increase activity during the work day, all Xanterra enterprises developed monthly challenges to get team members moving and counting their steps.
While Windstar’s crew members spend their days working on our beautiful yachts (and getting plenty of steps!) most of Windstar’s Seattle team members sit at desks dreaming about our beautiful voyages.
What better way to embrace a challenge, than to tie in our signature voyage? For the month of August Windstar’s team members are celebrating Greek Isles & Turkish Delights by walking 833 nautical miles, which equals 1,759,296 steps.
