Star Seeker Update: Can’t Wait to Visit Star Seeker? Check Out Its Meet-Ups With Windstar Fleetmates

In our latest update about Star Seeker – and the ship, which launches in about two months, getting really, really close – we discussed its spa and how its design is meant to emphasize relaxation and wellness. When we posted the story on Windstar Cruises’ Official Yacht Club Members and Fan Club there was such enthusiasm, and we loved this comment: “I was wondering a few things about Seeker,” posts Elliana Vera, “and now I know waiting until 2027 is a super long, long wait. I might have to try to book something sooner.”

This being a very special ship, as Windstar’s first new-build since its Wind-class vessels, it’s absolutely heartening to feel the excitement, not just amongst cruise line staffers but also from its dedicated travelers. And by all means, book an earlier voyage on Star Seeker, laughing, but there are other ways to explore the vessel (which will be identical to Star Explorer, launching in December 2026).

Beginning in January, Windstar is celebrating “meet-ups” in ports in the Canary Islands and the Caribbean where Star Seeker and other ships in the fleet happen to coincide. Depending on the meet-up, ship tours and special events are scheduled (and of course, these are limited to those who are sailing on Windstar specific vessels). There will be a sign-up process on board the ships for anyone interested in visiting another Windstar yacht. This is a great opportunity for those who only sail on the Wind-Class yachts to see the Star-Class motor yachts and vice versa.

Here’s the rundown:
