Star Pride will highlight Windstar’s small ship advantage of sailing with fewer than 300 privileged guests. Life on board the new power yacht will showcase many of the experiences found on our sailing fleet.
Sail Away: Windstar’s signature departure will be choreographed to the enchanting music of 1492: Conquest of Paradise as we take you on to the next day’s adventure.
Deck Barbecue: our unique Deck Barbecue gala will take place one night per voyage on the pool deck. The 5-star buffet offers an array of dishes including an Asian-style suckling pig served with apple sauce. The executive chef grills basted lobster tail; jerk marinated chicken drumsticks and the fresh catch of the day. In addition, seafood paella is cooked right on deck. After dining is complete, our crew performs their popular line dancing show.
Open Bridge Experience: Star Pride’s Captain and officers welcome you on Bridge while the yacht is at sea. You can chat with the officers on watch, view the navigational chart, and enjoy some of the best views on the yacht.
Watersports Platform: the platform located at the back of Star Pride will be brought to life Windstar style. The platform offers a variety of complimentary water toys such as water skis, wakeboards, kayaks, paddleboards, and sailboats. You can also enjoy the freedom of your own private yacht by swimming to and from the platform.
Luxury as You Like It: unlike many of the all-inclusive luxury brands, Windstar offers a choice on personal amenities. Shore excursions can be booked as a collection or day-by-day. Alcoholic beverages are available a la carte or through a beverage package, ensuring that you aren’t paying for someone else’s bar bill. A variety of other amenities are available for you to personalize your cruise as you choose.

Does Start Pride have broadband internet available for guests and is it free to access?

Windstar Cruises offers satellite Internet capabilities at a nominal charge, as well as wireless Internet service on all our ships. Wi-Fi access is available in most public areas, staterooms and suites. Please note depending on the course and position of the yacht, Internet service can be unreliable or may not be available.
Is wifi free in those public areas using my own device?
We will be aboard Star Pride for the June 27 – July 6 sail from Istanbul to Athens. We have sailed twice in past years with Wind Star and are looking forward to sailing on her newest ship and enjoying a relaxing vacation!
We will be on the Grad Prix cruise May 21 and can’t wait. My two sons aged 21 & 19 will be joining us, wondering if any other youngsters will be on board?

Very excited to leave this Friday for Barcelona, then board the Star Pride for her maiden voyage. We have cruised many times on the sailing vessels, including 3 voyages on the Wind Surf when it was previously owned by Club Med. I’d be very interested in meeting the ship’s Entertainment Director.
