Astronaut in space

A Windstar Experience Out of This World

Guests on board a recent Wind Star voyage enjoyed a ‘magical moment’ when fellow passenger, Mr. Joe Allen, a former astronaut, gave an impromptu presentation about working in space. Mr. Allen, who worked for NASA for almost two decades and once spent nearly two weeks in space, treated a fully packed lounge to an “Edge of the Earth” seminar.

Mr. Allen fascinates guests with his presentation in The Lounge with interesting facts, including what orange juice and coke look like in space and what it was like to work with Neil Armstrong.
