Windstar’s 2012 Caribbean Collection

A voyage on a Windstar luxury sailing yacht offers one of the most unique Caribbean experiences in the tropics and it is our pleasure to introduce our collection of 2012 Caribbean voyages. Enjoy the thrill of sailing on your own private yacht to some of the most beautiful and unspoiled islands in the Caribbean.

New: Flavors of the Caribbean Voyages

Set sail on Windstar’s most eclectic experience of Caribbean lifestyles and landscapes. The journey begins in the Dutch capital of St. Maarten enroute to Le Marin—a beautiful port on Martinique with one of the largest marinas in the Caribbean.  Next is the lush, mountainous island of St. Lucia which was once used as a hideout to raid passing Spanish Galleons before the British and French held several famous battles for this emerald gem of the Caribbean. On departure, sail past the island’s famous Pitons (volcanic spires).  Roseau, on the island of Dominica, exhibits French colonial and modern style along with beautiful nature, waterfalls and botanical gardens. Enjoy Antigua’s famous historic sites, natural parks and yachting scene. Mix and mingle with the glitterati at chic St. Barts with its five-star restaurants, luxury resorts, and high-end boutiques before sailing back to St. Maarten.

Yachtman’s Caribbean Voyages

Experience the glitter and glam of the Caribbean’s yachting scene and travel in the footsteps of legendary pirates such as Blackbeard. Sail from St. Maarten to Sopher’s Hole, Tortola with its quaint island charm, shops and eateries. At Jost Van Dyke, discover inviting beaches, tiny shops selling local island treasures and the infamous Foxy’s. Overnight in the harbor before continuing on to Virgin Gorda with its curious assembly of house-sized rocks called “the Baths,” which are jumbled together to form huge underground pools and caverns. In Basseterre, St. Kitts, revel in its elegant Georgian architecture. The island paradise of Les Saintes offers miles of sandy beaches and turquoise waters and it’s yours for the day. Savor the high life with glitterati on St. Barts with its five-star restaurants, luxury resorts, and high-end boutiques before returning to St. Maarten.

Jewels of the Windward Islands Voyages

Visit the Caribbean’s unspoiled southern islands on this adventure and enjoy a scenic cruise through The Grenadines. Sail from Bridgetown, Barbados, to the lush, mountainous island of St. Lucia. On your departure, journey past the island’s famous Pitons (volcanic spires). Live the life of yachters, spending the day swimming, snorkeling and overnighting at Tobago Keys – a group of beautiful, deserted islands. In colorful Bequia, venture high in the hills to visit Mt. Pleasant and Fort Hamilton. Enjoy the beach and an island barbecue on Mayreau’s sun swept beaches.  Then, explore St. George’s, the capital of Grenada, with its beautiful harbor, white sand beaches, shops, restaurants and open-air markets before sailing back to Barbados in style.

Great deals happen. Don't miss one.
